Hello everyone!

I hope you all had a fantastic break. Periods 1, 5 and 7, your final draft of your Injustice Letter is due on Thursday at 10:00 PM. Here are the assignments for the week:

Monday

Periods 1, 5 and 7:

Classwork: Revise your rough drafts, making sure to focus on clear claims and evidence to support the claims.

Homework: 10 pages of Independent Reading, and write a response on one Writing Strategy from your book. Bring your draft of your project for a peer review tomorrow!

Periods 2 and 6:

Classwork: Peer review of your Rhetorical Analysis essays.

Homework: Re-write your essay, incorporating feedback from today’s class. Due tomorrow at the start of class for a test grade!

Tuesday

Periods 1, 5 and 7:

Classwork: Peer Review of your Injustice Letter drafts.

Homework: Meet in the computer lab tomorrow, and make sure you have a gmail account that you know the password for!

Thursday

Periods 1, 5 and 7:

Classwork: Use the editing checklist to edit your final draft, and grade yourself using the rubric for this project.

Homework: Make any final changes you need to your draft. Your final drafts are due at 10:00 PM tonight.

Periods 2 and 6:

Classwork: Questions 21-41 of Multiple Choice Packet.

Homework: 10 Pages of Independent Reading, and write a response on one Writing Strategy from your book.

Friday

Periods 1, 5 and 7:

Classwork: Publishing of our Injustice Letters. Do a Gallery Walk, leaving feedback on your classmates' letters, and complete the Injustice Letter Reflection as your final grade for the unit.

Homework: 10 Pages of Independent Reading, and write a response on one Writing Strategy from your book.

Periods 2 and 6:
